So, me and my girl decided to give this water purifier a whirl right around Memorial Day weekend. It showed up all nicely packed and setting it up was pretty straightforward. The instructions? Clear as day, super easy to follow.
We’ve got well water that’s been softened, but honestly, it wasn’t something you’d want to drink straight up—had a TDS reading of 490. But after running the water through the new filter a bunch of times like the booklet said, the TDS on the purifier’s readout started showing mostly between 10-40, and then it kind of settled in the sweet spot of 15-25 after a bit more filtering. That’s smack dab in the efficiency range they promised, so thumbs up there. Yeah, you get a bit of waste water, but honestly, it wasn’t as much as I was bracing for.
This thing doesn’t drag its feet and it’s quiet, too. Really simple to use, doesn’t hog space, and you can pause the filtering whenever. We’ve got a bunch of Mason jars—32 and 64 ounces—that we fill up and stash in the fridge or leave out. Even the big 64-ouncer fits right where the carafe goes.
I was digging the taste right from the get-go, but my girlfriend wanted a bit more oomph to it. We found that dropping like 4-5 drops of this concentrated mineral stuff into a full carafe (we’re talking 40 ounces) did the trick for her. Oh, and our older cat? She’s all about it now, drinks it more than the tap water.
Pros: It’s a solid piece of kit, cranks out clean water like nobody’s business, and it’s exactly as they describe it.
Cons: Can’t say there’s much. Just heads up, it might drip a few drops of water here and there during the backflush thing, and when you pull the tank off to fill it up, might get a bit of water on the ledge. But it’s minor stuff, nothing a little towel can’t handle.
I’m really liking that it’s just one filter in this bad boy. Hoping it’ll last the 9-12 months they say it will. It’s perfect for just the two of us, especially since we’re both retired. Pretty sturdy build and the blue color’s a hit.

Been using this for three months and it’s lived up to my expectations. A UV light and a solution for the waste water going back into the source tank would be nice improvements. The TDS sensor doesn’t track the initial flow, but the overall water quality is definitely improved.

Been using this thing for a few months now, ever since I spotted algae in my old filter pitcher—gross, right? Wasn’t exactly thrilled about dropping a bunch of cash on a single device, but looking back, totally worth it. Living in an apartment really limits your options for stuff like this, so I was on the lookout for something compact that I could easily move with. The water tastes fantastic, and it’s cool that you can use it in place of distilled water for other needs too. My only nitpick is the plastic bin you fill up—it seems a bit off to focus on the health perks of the glass carafe but then have the water sitting in plastic beforehand. I get that glass might hike up the price and be more fragile, but it would make the whole health angle feel more consistent. Still, when you stack it up against the other countertop options out there, none of which offer a glass carafe or look this good, it’s clear this one’s a cut above the rest.
